Building 1 block back from the beach has a direct influence on material choices, finishes and quality of outdoor utilities. A coastal white timber weatherboard was perfect for the 316 stainless steel stud mounted clothesline. The fixed Happy Days 6 line wall mount  was installed north east facing for the best of the morning sun.
A dedicated mini 2  line wetsuit clothesline for the surfing clan was installed adjacent close to the board quiver.

This home conceptualised by Dougal and Isabella showcases a stunning mixture of recycled bridge timbers for the entryway & cabana, Mediterranean stucco plastering & a superb locally made spiral staircase. Just some of the many stylish elements influenced by travel & surf adventures creating a family friendly hacienda vibe.
