We installed this clothesline 5 years ago in our home near the beach. We get smashed with salt air. The quality of this clothesline is exceptional and the stainless steel has hardly discoloured at all. Other items around our home like some of our marine grade 316 lights are showing tea staining (yes we should be cleaning them each year). The design is excellent. The line space is enough for 2 loads of washing at time.. sometimes more if there are no bedsheets. And the ability re-tension the strings easily is a great feature too. One of our best purchases for sure and I can see that it will last a lifetime.

Excellent website makes choosing and ordering easy. Video explaining how to install the SS cables was a real bonus for a first timer – complemented the instructions well. Communication and advice on order progress was fine.
The one downside was the abysmal performance of the courier (Aramex). 8 days after it was picked up their website showed it was still in transit to Melbourne. When I queried this I was told “… our records indicate this consignment is currently in our courier’s bay and scheduled for delivery in his next available cycle.” It was finally delivered 13 days after dispatch.
Being a little out of the way on the Mornington Peninsula we use e-commerce and delivery services a lot. We have never, ever experienced such poor service from a courier.

Hi Geoff…we use a mixture of couriers- Aramex, Aus Post & Sendle. An absolute pain that it took so long to get to the Peninsular & in hindsight I would have chosen a different delivery system. On unpacking the delivery the first thing you notice is the high quality! The over three metre line was hung down the side of the house on a narrow pathway which was not being used, just outside the laundry door. It has meant that there is more space to use in the backyard and also now no problem with clothes fading…love it!

This is the second clothesline I have bought from Coastal Clotheslines for our new house. The design is stylish and the materials are first class and made to last.
